Noticed this evening that both the engine temperature gauge and fuel gauge had simultaneously stopped working (car had been at the National for the day and I'm sure they were both working yesterday).

Fuel gauge needle is showing completely empty with the light on, but the car has about a quarter tank of fuel.

Car is an early 2.5V6 automatic.

Any of our kind electrical gurus might know what's happened...?? Thank you in advance
