Need to relax more before going to bed. Stay off of the ipad & phone 2/3 hours before going to bed. Put some music on in the background when in bed. A nightcap is OK but a hot drink is a better idea.
So I'll be trying it out tonight although I did sleep a bit better last night.

I sometimes listen to a free self-hypnosis app "Relax and Sleep Well" on the iphone/ipad done by Glenn Harrold who has helped thousands of clients spanning 20 years. He uses background music and powerful suggestions with affirmations telling you what a good person you are and how you are loved by everyone around you. But its what ever works for you. On a personal level, within 10 minutes of listening to him, I am fast asleep and I wake up again in the night, I play him again.
