I totally agree. My V6 had a complete rear end rebuild and the front had poly bushes fitted. Ride was smooth yet tight as a drum. Comments from friends were that they were surprised at how an older car can still prove to be a quality product but then it took money to restore it to factory standards. Can’t escape that factor.
I’m driving a clean modern diesel now which whilst it is very good at many things it does not have the comfort of a 75.
If I want that I jump into my wife’s car!
