I had a BMW resetter years ago but I'm not conversant with the internal wiring. I suspect few here will be. I thought it was a bit big and clumsy for what it does and sold it. I got one of those OBD plug type with a push button. In your position, I think I'd buy a new tool, they can still be had for around a tenner.
