Not at all. The end of the world if there is a sheet of paper between E5 and E10 regarding mpg. Given the price difference, fuelling up with E10 you'll be the winner.

On the contrary mpg decrease is very true with E85: around 20/25% but in France E85 is worth 40% of E10 price!
TBH the difference becomes sensible between E20 & E50 and it's an exponential curve up to +25%: hence in the beginning it's about... peanuts!
