A 1/2" socket set, a jack, a piece of wood and a spanner set is pretty much it in terms of tools, except the hydramount tool.
This is a special tool designed to screw the hydramount out and back in, it took me a matter of minutes to do this bit of the job. I was able to borrow the tool from another forum member.
I think there are some people here who have removed them in other ways, have a search of the forum.
