Nothing to adjust just effectively a switch on the pedal and the lights themselves but the lights are controlled by electronics not directly by the switch making fault finding a little more complex. The brake lights can for example be turned on at a low level if the rear lights fails.
First you need to detach any work done from the problem
I would back track remove rear seat squab double check for any wiring damage etc
If nothing is obvious just treat it as a seperate fault
