Hi David.
No the chain is slack because I removed the HPFP then removed the special tool which is used to push the HPFP through for removal if you were going to change the HPFP for a new/ good one then the tool would have remained in position until the pump had been reinstated

I manage to get a quick hour on the engine today after real life got in the way, removed the head photo's below.
