I change insurance companies every year, I know for a fact that you will get it cheap for the first year, then they will have set up an auto-renew. The idea is, they were the cheapest last year so they probably will be this year. Your premium will go up a lot as your first year is a sweetener.
50% of people will probably just let it auto-renew.

Quite a few times I have gone through a comparison site and insured again with the same company, but its 100's cheaper because you are classed as a new customer again.
