What can I say swmbo likes it, I like it when it behaves. Not to mention that 1.8t 75 tourers are actually quite rare as well. Thing is we don't need to pull/carry heavy loads with it, or do lots of miles on a daily basis (so ruled out diesel). Just easier for going camping, especially with the muddy furry one (the dog) Fed up with my car getting messed up everytime we go away...
