Default Tyres

I have a couple of sets of the Conti 3's including the OEM fit and was never very happy with the hopping on the front end. Didn't find the life of the rears to bad at about 7k to 9K. Now have a set of Uniroyal Rainsport 3's and can't believe the difference in the ride and drive of the car. Much better than the Conti 3's and quieter too. Have no idea of rear tyre life yet as haven't done enough to see, but no noticable wear as yet after about 3K, including a few laps of the ring last year....Have also fitted a set to my fathers V8 ZTT after he has only ever had Conti's and he also agree's they are a better tyre.

BUT, everyone is different and maybe now the Conti 5's or 6's are better then the 3's were...At the very least, I think the Rainsports are excellent value and Uniroyal is now owned by Continental I am told....... All the best JB
