Seems SUV / crossovers are the flavour of the day at the moment, the Ford Mustang & Chevrolet Camaro are in line to get a electric suv crossover makeover shortly
similar to the new Jaguar ipace.
I can see what you mean to some extent as I've just got a compact crossover (Kia Niro hybrid) a full SUV was far to big for our needs this compact crossover is just right for us.
getting in & out of it is much easier for me than a car.
I don't know what 'Bumble Bee' from the Transformers film will think of the Camaro SUV
