Announcing the 13th National Meet
on Sunday 9th September 2012

The Club's 13th National Meet will be held on
Sunday September 9th 2012
at
Lakeland Motor Museum
Cumbria.

Between 10am and 5pm

The fascinating Lakeland Motor Museum nestles in the picturesque Leven Valley,
at Backbarrow, close to the southern tip of Lake Windermere.

A diverse and unique road transpost collection of some 30,000 exhibits
assembled over a period of almost 50 years is thoughtfully displayed alongside
many non-motoring additions, all at a beautiful riverside setting.

This thought provoking and thoroughly enjoyable attraction, provides a perfect venue
certain to entertain and enthral all ages. With collections covering motorcycles & scooters,
electric cars, Campbell's Bluebird & the Isle Of Man TT amongst others,
there is something for everyone

Food will be available on site from Cafe Ambio
serving a variety of sandwiches, soups, burgers, chips, muffins
and as it's a Sunday, a full roast dinner if your prompt.

Once again we have our own parking area set aside in the grounds.



As always we'll have the customary raffle as well as items for sale from the Club Shop

The entrance fee for the meet is £7.50 for adults & £4.00 for children (5-15 years)
which covers our costs for running the event, and includes entry to the museum itself,
as well as a free club memento.



In addition, for those feeling more adventurous
there is the nearby
Haverthwaite Steam Railway & Windermere Lake Cruises
available at additional cost from the museum on the day.

where you will be issued with a special ticket for admission to the museum.
