Have you done the ‘sniff’ test. If you get a ‘exhaust’ smell when you take the cap off the radiator, then you probably have got HGF. If no smell, then I would say no HGF. You seem by your posts to be losing water but different amounts at random amounts of mileage. Is there water coming out of the small pipe to the header tank?Have you tried undoing the header tank and putting water in it while it is supported above the engine, and opening the bleeder valve to see if air comes out?
