The chickens have come home to roost with that particular one.

I personally would stick with the plastic original, I replaced mine with the Gerry Tee, four years back, and contrary to popular belief, the one I was supplied with was fabricated in mild steel and painted silver.

Imagine my annoyance after draining and flushing the cooling system to find the silver paint washing around in my fresh antifreeze.
More annoyingly so when I had to subsequently remove the tee, cut off the turbo stub and manufacture a one which came out at the correct angle and length and weld it to the tee myself.

The moral of the story is here, after six years of service, the original plastic item was perfectly serviceable, and the replacement was certainly far from it.

I won't be bothering for my next turbocharged K-Series
