Well Dawn, it's simply a case of the right price and choosing a supplier who appears reliable. Here's an example:
Cool Car Air Con. based in Birmingham. They give their UK company credentials and have a normal phone number. I have no experience of this company so cannot specifically recommend them, but it gives you an idea of what a Google search can turn up.
A condenser is not a big deal. It's basically a radiator with a pouch of silica gel (absorbs moisture) attached to the side of it. It's the most vulnerable component of your system to external damage. One of mine sprang a leak after a year, just out of warranty. There's no point in spending a fortune on them!
