So only the slide part of the upper trim needs to stay in place?

I noticed that the slide part is held in place (to the rest of the upper trim) with a couple of moulded lugs - did you just bend the slide trim enough that it popped straight out?

Wouldn't like to break the thing, as getting another one back on the belt looks like it'd be a PITA.
