I have great respect for American paints. Hammerite is one of them.
Whether it still is as good as I think, I don't know.
But I do know that with painting, as with many other things in life, preparation is everything!
So unless you use a rust convertor, bare metal! or sound paint. Nothing else will do.
And under the car is usually not an inviting place to do a first class job.
