Default What I did with my Rover 75/MG ZT today?

Fitted my DMGRS three piece engine mount set. Pleasantly straightforward other than the block in the top mount!
Method:
Jack on front X-member, axle stands on jacking points, handbrake, remove belly pan.
Release lower mount, jack to sump, take off top engine cover (diesel).
Release bolts as discussed on here, then faff around trying to undo hydra mount nut. Deep 19mm impact socket did the trick.
Copious WD40 around hydra mount block then drift and spin off.
WD40 to inside of front strut tower to release front bolt on wing mount. 15mm ratchet spanner a godsend on other three bolts.
Release as many AC pipe mounts as you can!
Refit top mount BEFORE Hydra mount it’s a lot easier.
Refit, Loctite and torque up, run engine, replace all bits and road test.
80 mile round trip to collect refurbished alloys and noteable improvement, but still some vibes, traced to rear heat shield but also probably crank pulley. Investigate Freelander pulley as a lot cheaper!
Horns and H7 HID kit to fit tomorrow, then posh wash, compound and finish, then fit refurbed 11-spokes in BMW metallic grey powder coat...
