Well that's probably over half the population unable to own an electric vehicle then.

Why do I have this vision of hundreds of extension cables hanging out of tower block windows.
Will the theft of fuel be replaced by the theft of electricity?

And what about freight and farming? Long distance lorry driving would suddenly become short distance lorry driving.. Will farming go back to horse drawn vehicles?

Electric powered vehicles may work in some cities but never in a rural location.
