You can post direct from your computer, they come up as thumbnails that can be opened rather than full size images. Click "post reply" below the last posting rather than the quick reply icon. Once the reply box comes up scroll down a bit and you'll see "manage attachments", click that and you'll see an option for uploading from a computer.
