I fitted a Sony unit into the wife's car (technophobe) and she struggles to follow any of the menus, sub-menus, multi use switches etc.
She's managed to switch between sources now so can use the radio and her memory stick (just lets it run through all the songs!).
As to which radio, I would suggest that you take your time choosing until you are confident that you and yours will be happy with the controls etc.
I just hope that my original setup lasts as I hate the modern stuff (far too complicated). I've bought extra CD magazines so that I don't get bored with the usual selections.
