The warranty on the part is worthless if it fails early as in the OP case, because the cost of having the job done again out weighs the if it fails in a certain it will be replaced ?
I'll have a look at this option later today. My cdt has its mot tomorrow at the same garage. I always go there for stuff that i'm not confident about doing as I can walk there. I suspect you mean a genuine landrover pump?
