That is looking 100% better already than when you first got it, and with time and patience that will be one stunning car. It is a credit to you, well done so far.
I am very fortunate to have the Man Cave, and count myself very lucky to have it, but when we purchased the house, (24 1/2 years ago) that was one of the proviso that I had, and SWMBO wanted a decent size kitchen, and a few other things.
I keep the MGF on one side, and the other side is occupied by the new XKR, so the soft tops cars live indoors, and the hardtop cars live outside, and they get cleaned regularly
Just keep up the work on the MGF, and you will get there, and it is nice to own two Red MGs
