Our daughter got a leaving present of a new "spade" shaft signed by all her colleagues but it's a pick axe handle
How can somebody not know the difference between a spade handle & a pick axe handle
Must be some college humour that goes over my head
Any how what a tool, I whittled the pick axe handle down to fit this 3lb hoe spade I got off the bay for 6 Quid, Dear me! It rips chucks out of that huge huge root ball effortlessly.
Next door was watching me behind the curtains hacking, slashing & cursing at this before that damn sciatica stopped play
Note to self wear gloves when pulling out pampas grass as it's like pulling out razor blades. Already on donkey painkillers & cider
