Apologies both I've only just seen these two replies on this thread. See my responses below.

Hi Alex,

I ordered some spare IPK LCD screens in this batch as I thought there would be some enquiries after the order deadline. I still have a few of these spare extra screens available if you'd like one.

Apologies Rick, I should have mentioned that I asked about the light unit as the rear fog light must have failed at some time and the warning light is wired through an external bulb. I have been told that having a new IPK screen also requires a new lighting unit, is that correct?
The car is a March 2003 model.

Kind regards,

Hi David,

Is your IPK screen not working at all? If so have you tried a battery reset as there is a common glitch with the IPK screens where they stop responding and a battery reset sorts this.

If that doesn't work, then the LCD screen's ribbon cable may be damaged if someone's tried to repair it before as I've come across this being the reason for a failed IPK screen many times.

The warning for the rear fog lamps is shown on the IPK screen, and has your screen isn't working that's why you have no rear fog light warning at the moment.

You won't need a replacement light switch module.

The new IPK screen is installed to your instrument cluster, replacing the old one.

As above I still have a few of the extra IPK screens I ordered available if you'd like to have one installed

Cheers
Rick
