I'm not actually sure where it is to be honest. I have a 2.5 Petrol. I noticed the first time I looked in the plenum as my last two were diesels and I remembered what a pain in the NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- it was, but it's so easy on this one.

What's to outcome if my ECU as got wet?
The ECU will be in the same place, just not in a big black box as on the diesel, if the ECU gets wet it can cause all sorts of trouble, and if the pollen filter is wet from top to bottom as you say then water and got high or been splashed up high enough to maybe get it wet but usually the petrol ECU is sealed so maybe not got wet.

Cut these off under the car if you can
