Default A/C update

Here is an update on the situation with my air conditioning issue. As previously described the a/c failed to hold a vacuum and it was initially suspected that the evaporator was at fault by the garage that did my MOT.
After speaking with John Carr (CarrCool ) it was decided that the car would need a workshop appointment to assess the problem correctly.
I left the car and commenced the 35 mile journey home by bike ( dedication you see) When the system was inspected John found that the condenser was like a swiss cheese and tracer dye could be seen without any UV necessary he then described repair and likely cost but of course I decided to go ahead.
John was very complimentary about the condition of my car even though many of the cars on the forecourt were Porsche or Range Rover which reassured me that he was the right man for the job he even provided pics before and after.
Picked it up earlier all done and with working a/c
Cannot recommend this garage highly enough they are Woodleigh motor sales ltd, Grassmoor, Chesterfield 01246 850686
