I agree. It could be said that any component in the system is "a possibility". The skill is in using experience and expertise to identify the actual source. That's where the one-man-band specialists come in. I would forget about the evaporator if I were you Sean.

Why not give the company I found for you a ring? Ask them what leak detection equipment and procedure they would use as your car has just failed to hold a vacuum (hint: fill with nitrogen and use soap solution on common sources of leakage).
