Thanks for the offer Jules, you are a star! On this occasion I wont need to take you up on it * but I will be popping over soon (ish) to get the high line whatsit fitted.

Meanwhile the wife of my usual local garage owner phoned to check if I had managed to get the pedal sorted. (she does the garage accounts so we know each other quite well) I told her the saga,

and after she stopped giggling, she is going to ask her husband to ring me to get this blimmen pedal sorted out today! ---

Meanwhile, down on the farm, GeofWW has also offered to come round the m60 and up the M67 to fit the pedal for me! How nice is that!

I will be giving Geoff a ring later after I have spoken to my local mechanic.

It is great to know there are some really nice people around innit.... My thanks to you all...
