Maybe they're just the pathfinder force, relaying the amount of mud and size of the hole and the depth of the water and volumes of muck available to fill the hole back to the main platoon   .

LOL yeah doesn't look right without half a dozen vans blocking the service road at the back
I'm just glad they arrived with a pump as I wouldn't have let them backfill the hole with all that water squelching out over my lawn/driveway.
