Must put my hand up and admit I dont know how old the cap is .
But not seen any coolant around the filler.
Dont even get a patch on the floor or drips.
Had it up on a ramp yesterday with two rover trained mechanics with the engine running up to the point of the fan kicking in.
Not one of us could see a drip or a run of coolant.
Think maybe the next step is a gas tester to see if any gas is in the coolant.
Im off work next week so it will be up on the ramps again to have another look.
The old girl does around 100 miles a week so its just a case of topping her up every couple of days. Need to get it sorted for next year as we missed out on all the meets this year. This is not a new problem been going on a while now. Doesn't seem to get worse.
