I am pleased you have a devolved assembly - it’s the right thing. Where I as an Englishman have an issue is that when you pay a tax £ - you get back £1.10.
When I pay a tax £ - I get back 97p.
Your welsh assembly is quite within its rights to use some of this extra per capita funding to give free Rx’s to all. I am genuinely pleased that Wales, NI and Scotland chose to do this.
To me it underscores the Free at the Point of Delivery principle of the NHS.
But given the extra 13.4% per capita funding that Wales received compared to England in 2015/16 can you not see why the question is being asked as to why this has all lead to a criminal offence being created purely for England?
Especially as we seem to be paying more and getting less?
