Don't write off a suspect inlet manifold gasket leak just because you can't see or feel any moisture around the inlet manifold.
It is quite possible that coolant is leaking into one (or more) of the cylinders due to a leak and is therefore not visible to you.
When you first fire up the engine from cold does it run a little rough for a brief moment? That's usually a good sign of the above.
Did the garage the replace the IMG when they did your head gasket?
If so, the inlet manifold is plastic and subject to extreme heat so entirely feasible, as suggested by Lovel, that it could be warped.
