I'm still learning & practising Phil - mainly on the increasing number of flowers blooming in the garden, as being isolated means I can't/shouldn't be wandering around scenic places!
The "Canon EOS450D for Dummies" book I got off Ebay is excellent - it explains things in layman's terms which is ideal for me.
If I want to get close-ups of flowers, insects etc. - what do you think to these combined wide angle/macro lens that screw onto the front of a normal lens (
like this) - are they any good?
