Probably better than 50% of the Fiesta though. Mine does around 28mpg and our Citroen Cactus 1.2 petrol doesn't even do 50 yet it's mostly dual carriageway driving for the wife's commute.

For a low mileage (2,000 pa) driver like me it's only a small total difference on the cost of ownership but if you are looking to do 12,000 a year then.

12,000 miles / 50mpg x £1.25 per litre x 4.54 (to make a gallon) = £1,362

so a 190 would be about £2,500 pa and mine (for 2,000 miles) about £420. Worth every penny.
