Default Vauxhall Victor Update.

I got an hour on the Victor today, I wanted to take out the rubber mat before I start the welding jobs on the car. The mat is the original one and unmarked, best not to burn holes in it I think. I took out the mat and found the underside of it was wet, the soundproofing was soaked and rotting as well.
I peeled the rotted stuff out of the car and got rid of it, I then chipped out the vibration pads to get a clear run at the floors, there's very little welding needed on inspection. I was taken by the writing on the gearbox tunnel, it says, Honey and Black. I think it was to tell the lads on the line what the trim level was, it also has a number 16 written on the tunnel, I don't know what that means. It could be that it's a very early one or a daily count, I just don't have a clue.
The pictures are of the passenger floor areas, it seems to be quite good for 42 years old and fairly neglected.
