Not answering your question, but these in theory would be better than the original fitment. For me the main problems with the original heated seats is the fact that they have a thermostat that switches them off too early and they never come back on. Yes, apparently there is a fix for this, I actually bought some thermostats over a year ago but still not got around to fitting them.

The other issue for me is the original switches have a timer in them. If they just switched on or off they would be better. The VW UP we had, left them on as long as you wanted. Really nice when my back was playing up.
