That's a diesel, but everything you'll need to know is the same.
Note that fitting a new fan system without an aircon depressurisation/recovery operation, you'll have to cut an access through the fan frame for the aircon pipes. Most people do that. It's relatively easy and has negigible effect on the fan frame. Get a second hand 2-speed if you can. Or try replacing the brushes in the old motor. There are HowTos covering alll this stuff.
