I've already heated it with a good blowgun - there's not much clearance round the edge though so it's hard to get the heat just onto the nut, it hits the shaft as well.
I've got a battery impact wrench ( this one) but I don't have an impact socket to fit the nut (it'll wreck a normal socket). |
I have the same gun plus air powered versions and i have been using my chromed sockets for years without any damage, rarely unstake the nuts, just spin them off as is!!
