Just about to say that the auto box’s on our 75/ZTs Are programmed that way. As trikey said, don’t brake, it will then take it longer to change down. As soon as you brake, it knows (the auto box) that you require braking from the engine, or so it thinks. I don’t know if modern box’s do the same now, but they hadn’t used to.
