Mine failed a few weeks after I bought it. Dealer (MG specialist) changed the filter as well (under warranty) and replaced it the wrong way round so that when I filled up it poured petrol all over the forecourt. The new filter was also faulty and failed a further twice before they found the fault (a damaged o-ring). On both occasion they replaced it the wrong way round, more petrol!!!
