I agree with what you are saying.
My Wife is confined to a wheelchair and has a powerchair. I have lost count on the times my wife cannot get to where she needs to go. Because some-one as park there vehicle on the pavement.
If you cannot park on the road with-out cousing an obstuction, then go and park where it is safe to do so, and walk back. That is what legs are for walking with.
