The weather is bad which may affect things but it really is poor that out of approx 1800 voters only a few can be bothered, the station is open till 10pm but I don't expect many more.

If you are on polling duty you must know a few things. What are the folio numbers on the polling slips for. As the voting is private it can't be to track the voter but it must be for something?
Is it just to show the slip is genuine in the case of the poll being compromised? I have always wondered but never asked
