Sorry I must strongly disagree with your comment, why break a car that is in great condition, that is a perfect runner and is free from any mechanical defects. It would be such as waste of a lovely car.

Cat D is the very lowest form of insurance write off and can be given due to very minor issues that are easily fixed. The definition of Cat D is - "A Category D write-off is one that insurers consider unecomonical to repair but one that could, given enough time in the workshop, be repaired and returned to the road."

My car had been fully repaired prior to my purchase, it has been driven for nearly two years now, it is entirely solid and reliable.

If my car had an no cat I'd be asking for a lot more, I feel £2400 for a fully specced connoisseur diesel auto, is a good deal and I've had lots of pm's from interested people.
