Give the door card a thump upwards at the bottom to release it from the door and then I found using a pair of water pump pliers to sqeeze the spring tabs in worked best to get the square plastic clips off. To help make sure the top metal clips hold better they will move along the door a bit if knocked from the side with a screwdriver and mallet it will make them locate in a new place and give a better grip. After doing all the the stupid door is still making a squeeking noise GRRRR!! But at least the door card is solid and not hanging off.
