If all that fails, do you have TOAF diagnostic software? You could scan the BCU (Body Control Unit) and see which keys are registered and campare to the labels stuck to the circuit boards within the the key fobs.
On both keys red light is working, I will try re-sync tomorrow. Unfortunately I don't have TOAF nor understand how it works.

AA mechanic didn't use a scanner either. Worst though I have warranty cover and AA mechanic says keyfobs not covered, I'm checking this out tomorrow.
