Brilliant Martin, thanks very much for your very helpful contribution. Your experience is exactly what RAVE describes so it's good to know that the system is still operational. The advantage is that, for your money, you got a painless process and a complete key; cut blade with new and programmed PCB and transponder.

£260 is actually not a lot of money these days. It's significantly less than my road tax this year.
