First I've ever heard of it too (and it makes perfect sense). Anyone know a bit more about the 'inner' (nearest to cat.) hanger which is narrower than the rear version and for some (specific?) reason red rubber composition, it also has a circumferential groove but no fail-safe feature (well at least not on the Rimmers Bros. version).
