How about purchasing and installing an iPod radio transmitter that can send the signal to be picked up by the vehicle's radio. This still allows the use of the CD changer and the iPod. I have one in another vehicle and use it with great success.

The only potential difficulty is the positioning of the cigar lighter socket which may hinder gear changes, unless an auxillary socket is fitted - £6 on eBay (excluding cable).
Most Ipod Transmitters do not broadcast in Stereo & the sound quality not 100%
I often inform users/friends that the Sound they are listening to is MONO !! Some can't tell the difference between Mono & Stereo sound.

When I last researched this many TX's didn't even have any spec ie Bandwidth Signal to Noise Ratio Stereo Separation etc.

If that's the case go ahead & buy a Transmitter........ignorance is Bliss as they say
